This past week has been a rough one. I can’t exactly put my finger on what went wrong or where everything went sour, but needless to say I’m glad the week is over. It all came to a halting crash when I had a breakdown at my yoga studio on Monday night and burst into tears in front of the yoga instructor.
Sometimes enough is enough
For a couple weeks I’ve felt like I was always ten minutes behind for everything and I just couldn’t get caught up. Does that ever happen to you? It feels like your treading water and barely keeping your head up. You’re tired from paddling and your exhausted from not getting anywhere. Well that’s exactly how I felt.
For four weeks I’ve had my eye on this gorgeous bracelet at my yoga studio, but it was $40 and I think that’s a lot of money to pay for one piece of jewelry. However after the week I had I will take any help I can get so I caved and bought the bracelet.
Do you believe in higher healing powers?
It’s made out of pyrite which gives the energy of inner strength, courage and power. It also has quartz which encourages spiritual growth and healing energy. To make a long story short it’s full of good luck and hopefully it will help me balance out all the instability in my life.
As an added bonus it’s really cute and goes with everything, just take a look…
It’s not a waste if it makes you feel good
I am at the point in my life where I will do anything that makes me happy, even if it’s out of character for me. Spending $40 on a bracelet is definitely out of the norm in my usual spending habits, but I really needed this.
Other than travelling this $40 is the best money I’ve spent all year and that’s all that matters. Yes maybe I overpaid and yes maybe the healing powers are all in my head, but I believe it works and wearing the bracelet makes me feel good so I have no regrets.
If you believe it works, then it does
I honestly have no idea if pyrite and quartz have healing powers, but three good things have happened to me since I started wearing the bracelet and therefore I believe it works, so that’s all that matters.
The first good thing that happened was the local coffee shop gave me a free hash brown with my breakfast sandwich, then the CEO of my company called me to say what a great job I was doing and then I got $1.50 extra change from my dinner last night.
I know it’s small things, but these are exactly the signs I needed to know that life is not so bad and they came at exactly a time when I needed them the most.
So yes this bracelet is the best $40 I spent.
