Over the years, numerous apps have been released that claim to let you make money in your spare time by playing fun games. Word Cash app, an Android app available in the Google Play store, is one of those games. The app, which was released in August 2020 by Puzzle Game Studio Pro, currently has more than a million downloads and nearly 150,000 reviews. Now, many people are asking if the Word Cash app is legit or a scam.
What Is Word Cash App?
Word Cash app was developed by a Hong Kong-based app developer to let players make money by playing word searches and puzzle games to earn rewards. The rewards, in the form of virtual currency, can be exchanged for cash once a certain threshold is reached. The game is free to download and the advertisements for the game make claims that players can earn thousands of dollars playing in their spare time and that players who play for at least 15 minutes a day have high IQs. However, these claims often make people wonder “is Word Cash app legit?” as the claims sound a bit farfetched.
How Do You Use Word Cash App?
To use the Word Cash app, all you need is an Android-powered device and an internet connection. Once the app has been downloaded from the Google Play store, simply open the app and begin playing the games. There are no sign up requirements or permissions required to start using the app. The ease of use is one reason that many of the players who have tried the app began playing.
To play the game, you need to find hidden words in a block of tiled letters. The words you find are selected by swiping across the letters in the word. When a word is successfully found, those tiles disappear and the tiles from above fall into their places. You advance to the next level by finding all of the words in the puzzle and removing all of the tiles. Virtual cash rewards are deposited for finishing levels and finding bonus words.
Issues With Using Word Cash App
One issue that many players have with Word Cash app is the number of ads they are exposed to. For tools and hints for finding words, players must use some of their virtual currency or watch an ad. Every few levels, another ad is shown and these ads are not immediately skippable. This is mainly due to the app making most of its money from showing ads, not from purchases from players.
Another issue that many players report is not being able to turn their virtual currency into real money as promised by the advertisements. The cash-out threshold for Word Cash app is very high at $150 and while virtual currency is earned very quickly on the initial levels, as the player reaches higher levels, the rewards are more difficult to win. There have been many reports of players getting close to the threshold, but being unable to reach it due to lack of rewards or the app continuously crashing.
So, Is Word Cash App Legit Or A Scam?
Word Cash app appears to be a scam that is just a vehicle for the company to make money by making players watch ads. There are numerous reports of players being unable to cash out their earnings after spending significant amounts of time playing the game (and watching the ads). In fact, it is very difficult to find any factual reports where the participants did not have trouble turning their virtual currency into real cash.
