It’s time to do an underwear subscription review.
These days, you can order just about anything by subscription. You sign up. Sometimes you select a plan from a list of options. Then a company ships you a box, usually arriving monthly. When it arrives, it’s almost like a little surprise.
What better surprise to receive each month than new panties? Everyone feels good when their undergarments are cute and new, right? An underwear subscription box can give you just that.
Underwear Subscription Review for Women
You might think that there are only one or two underwear subscription boxes out there. If so, then you would be wrong. There are at least a dozen well-known subscriptions for underwear. They are available for all genders, ages, and sizes.
However, for this underwear subscription review, we will just be looking at women’s underwear subscription boxes. After all, you have to narrow it down somehow, and I only buy women’s underwear.
Cratejoy
If you are looking for subscription boxes, then the first place to go is always Cratejoy. They curate a wide selection of product boxes for all types of people. Therefore, it’s where I first checked for underwear subscription boxes. If you head to the “women” category and select “lingerie” then you’ll get more than half a dozen options.
Skivvie NIX
First up is Skivvie NIX. Use this service to get two pairs of underwear delivered monthly. You can choose for both of those to be thongs, both to be “cheekies” or you can get one of each every month. Furthermore, you can choose whether you want basic colors, bold colors and prints, or a mix of the two. There are four sizes available – small through XL. If you prepay for 3 months in advance, then it’s $20 per month (or $10 per pair of undies.)
Frisky Britches
Frisky Britches actually offers the same basic things as Skivvie NX. You’ll get two pairs of underwear each month, and you can choose thongs or cheekies. However, you only have to pay $14 per month (or $7 per pair). Therefore, in terms of price, this is the better deal of the two.
Beneathe Underwear Club
Beneathe gives you more options. You can receive one or two pairs of underwear each month. They come in six sizes from small – 3X. In terms of style, you can select “less coverage” (thongs, cheekies, and v-strings), “more coverage” (bikini, briefs, or boy shorts) or a mix of the two. One pair per month is $9.99 but the better deal is to get 2 pairs for $12.99. If you go with that option, you pay less per pair than you would for the above two subscriptions.
Other Cratejoy Underwear Subscription Boxes
In addition to the above three plans, you might want to look at:
- Club Knix, offering high-tech moisture-wicking, leak-proof technology
- Luv My Skivvies, which allows you to choose “always thongs” or “no thongs”
- Shop Underwear, five sixes of three types and three different rises on each (such as mid-rise hipster)
Furthermore, Cratejoy offers lingerie boxes. Instead of just an underwear subscription, you might get bras, nighties, or other lingerie as well. Bed Queen, Empress Mimi, and The Lingerie Box are three to look at.
Splendies
Of course, Cratejoy isn’t the only place where you can get subscription boxes. Splendies is an example of a direct-to-consumer underwear subscription box. They offer 8 sizes from small to 4X and specialize in pretty panties for curvy women. You can get “all thongs” or “no thongs” or “make it a surprise.” Each box includes three pairs of panties. Plans start at $13.99 per month, but if you prepay for 3, 6, or 12 months then you get discounts. This is one of the best per-pair price options you’ll find for underwear subscription boxes.
PantyDrop
If you’re looking for a wide range of sizes, then this could be your best option. They offer sizes XS – 6XL. However, you’ll only receive one box every three months. That could be perfect for you or not often enough depending on your shopping style. Each box includes three pairs of panties. You can choose a $35 box for basic panties or a $65 box for more luxurious options.
Underclub
If you’re looking for brand-name luxury underwear, then try Underclub. They offer two plans: get everyday luxury underwear for $12.95 per month or boutique/seasonal designer collections for $19.95 per month. In either case, you’ll get one pair per month. However, if your underwear drawer is lacking, then you can get a kick-start with a first-time purchase of 3, 5, or even 10 pairs. That’s a nice perk that the other clubs don’t offer.
